These bakery style jumbo size chocolate chips muffins are soft, moist and chocolate flavor is rich!
It feels very light, you could eat them everyday either for dessert or breakfast!
Ingredients:
110g unsalted butter, melted (1/2 cup)
200g granulated sugar (1 cup)
2 large eggs
60ml yogurt or sour cream (1/4 cup)
180ml whole milk or your choice of milk (3/4 cups)
300g all-purpose flour ( 2 1/2 cups)
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract/vanilla
200g semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 cups)
How to make them:
- Preheat your oven to 180C (356F).
- Melt the butter completely and let it cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together.
- Add the other wet ingredients; eggs, milk, yogurt or sour cream, vanilla extract and whisk throughly.
- In a seperate bowl or with a help of sifter, sift all dry ingredients; flour, baking powder and add into the wet mixture and combine them.
- Add chocolate chips in mix.
7. Line muffin tins into muffin pan, muffins as shown on the photos make 6 muffins with 2 scoops of batter, if you want to make smaller muffins, you can make 12 small muffins.
8. Bake them for 25 minutes until the toothpick comes out clean or little moist. Keep an eye on them.
You can serve after 10 minutes either hot or cooled. Enjoy! 🙂
Notes:
- You can store them in a sealed container or wrap them up with strech film so they do not get hard. You can heat them before serving if you place them in the fridge.
- They last up to 7 days wrapped or stored in a sealed container, or up to 3 months in the freezer.
